Peer Review Policy

The Shodh Sagar Journal of Language, Arts, Culture and Film is dedicated to upholding the highest possible academic and ethical standards in the publishing industry. In order to do this, we use a peer review approach that is double-blind, which guarantees the confidentiality of both the reviewers and the authors throughout the review process. In order to ensure that the research that we publish is of the highest possible quality, integrity, and openness, our policy on peer review was developed.

Double-Blind Review:
Within the framework of our double-blind review procedure, the identities of both the reviewers and the writers are kept secret from one another. The purpose of this is to minimize prejudice and guarantee that papers are assessed fairly based on the significance of their academic excellence and the quality of their content.

Reviewer Selection: The reviewers are selected on the basis of their level of competence in the subject matter of the paper. In order to assist writers in improving their work, we make it a priority to identify reviewers who are able to give comments that is both helpful and objective.

Review Process: Following the submission of a manuscript, the editorial staff will conduct an initial screening to determine whether or not the paper satisfies the requirements of the journal in terms of its scope, formatting, and quality standards. If a manuscript is found to be in compliance with these standards, it is then sent to a minimum of two independent reviewers for examination.

Feedback to Authors: Reviews are provided to authors in a manner that conceals their identities. The suggestions for improvement, more study, or amendments that are required for approval are included in this feedback in its entirety. The editing staff acts as a mediator for all communications that take place between reviewers and writers.

Decision Making: The ultimate choice on manuscripts is made by the editorial staff, which takes into consideration the comments made by reviewers, taking into account the relevance, originality, and clarity of the manuscripts. Acceptance, minor adjustments, substantial revisions, or rejection are the five potential options that might be made.

Confidentiality:
All papers that are currently being evaluated are considered to be confidential materials. Reviewers are obligated to maintain the confidentiality of the peer review process and abstain from exploiting any information received during the review process for their personal benefit or the benefit of another individual.

No Review Charges:
A fee is not required to participate in the peer review process. When it comes to the assessment of manuscripts, the Shodh Sagar Journal of Language, Arts, Culture and Film does not charge any fees to either the authors or the reviewers.

Ethical Standards:
Reviewers and writers are required to adhere to the highest ethical standards, which includes declaring any possible conflicts of interest that may arise.

Appeals and Complaints:
Authors have the ability to raise concerns regarding the review process or the editing judgments that they have made. In order to maintain openness and impartiality, the editorial board is responsible for handling instances of this kind.
