The application of non-linear narrative strategies in postmodern film, with an emphasis on the ways in which newer films have questioned conventional storylines in order to construct complex, original tales. A feature of postmodern filmmaking is the use of non-linear storytelling, which are defined by numerous viewpoints, fractured timelines, and unusual plot progression. With Pulp Fiction, Memento, and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind as case studies, we can analyze how these films use non-linear strategies to convey stories, how they captivate viewers with intricacy, and how they deepen themes. Postmodern filmmakers test the limits of narrative form by removing events from a strict chronological order, making the viewing experience more open to audience participation and interpretation. the ways in which non-linear narrative has shaped modern film, how it has affected audiences, and the ways in which it has the ability to tackle subjective concepts like memory and identity. In the end, how postmodern narrative innovation reshaped cinematic storytelling.
