Abstract
A new age in human communication and language usage has begun with the rise of social media platforms. offer a brief synopsis of the far-reaching effects of social media on people's use of language, expression, and communication in the modern day. In today's world, people have more chances than ever before to connect, communicate, and engage with one another because to the proliferation of social media platforms. Because of this, a new digital lexicon has emerged, one that is more concise, less formal, and always linked. Traditional ideas of communication have been shaken to their very foundations by this terrain, which has also altered language standards.
